Any of you who have been around for a while know I do not do TBRs because I am incapable of sticking to any that I have choice in. But there are always some books I’m feeling most interested in at any given moment in time, and these are the ones I’m feeling like I’d like to try out soon! This will likely have changed by next week.
Non-Fiction/Memoir

See Me Rolling by Lottie Jackson
Some of Us Just Fall by Polly Atkin
The Lady’s Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness by Sarah Ramey
The first three of these I discovered while browsing at my local library, but are still firmly on my top TBR. I started two of them prior to BookTube Prize judging and enjoyed what I read, so I’d like to circle back to them now I have more time again. The Lady’s Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness is one I’ve had on my TBR for ages and keep planning to read but never quite getting to. I’d like to finally at least give it a try.
Non-Fiction About My Winter Hobby – Yarncrafts

The Lost Flock by Jane Cooper
This Golden Fleece by Esther Rutter
I’m getting back into my winter hobbies as the garden has entered its denoument and the weather is starting to hint at cooling down a little. I crocheted one item of clothing for my kid already, and am working on another. I’ve got plans for hats and shawls and sweaters and socks…. all kinds of fun projects! So I’m interested in finding books that dovetail with this interest over the winter months. I’ve started Vanishing Fleece – I think I might have read it last year but never got around to reviewing it – and I’m enjoying it so far. The other two are also more about the wool than the craft, but I’m interested in learning about the history of knitting and the animals who have been providing us with the material we use for yarncrafts for centuries now.
Fiction

My Friends by Fredrik Backman
A Particularly Nasty Case by Adam Kay
I want to finally finish Washington Black since the TV show is out and I’m really excited to watch it. I started it but got distracted – however what I did read was great, so I’m hoping I’ll get back to it soon. The other two are more recent additions to my TBR, but I’m excited about both as I’ve read other books by the authors that I’ve enjoyed.
That’s it for me this week! I’ll be interested to see if I actually get through any of these over the next few months, and if so which ones! Have you read any of these? What did you think? Are any on your TBR as well?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I was hoping to read MY FRIENDS this year, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen at this point. I hope we both love it when we get to it.
Happy TTT!

I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts if you do read it! I had a mixed reaction – at least in part due to not knowing enough about the context, I think! Interesting, though.
I enjoyed reading Washington Black, and hope to get the chance to watch the adaptation as the weather gets colder. I hope you enjoy reading all of these when the mood strikes.

I need to read that Fredrik Backman book too.
This is a great list, I love how varied it is. You certainly won’t get bored.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
omg! The Lady’s Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness is being immediately added to my TBR and moved as close to the top as possible.
So many women have gone through something similar, myself included.
Good luck with your plans for fall reading! You are close to meeting your yearly goal.
Vanishing Fleece sounds really good. I love books like that. Enjoy your reads!!
Nice picks! Have a great week.

I’ve heard so many good things about My Friends. I’m going to have to try it.
I’m the same with TBRs (It’s almost impossible for me to stick to them), but I still make them for fun 😉 A Particularly Nasty Case looks interesting. I hope you’ll love these books whenever you get to them!

Like you, I don’t make reading lists or stick to them, I just have piles of books and I grab one that I am in the mood for.
