Some of these are older, some newer, but all of them were very enjoyable to read and watch. And even if they didn’t stick exactly to the book, they kept the spirit of it. These are ones I’d recommend both the book and film of.

I love both the film and book versions of The Martian, but I prefer the book, which is often the case with adaptations I find.
I agree, but there are adaptations that are brilliant just not *quite* as good as the movie in my head when I read the book, vs the ones that are just okay or actually not good at all, and this was one that was pretty well done, imo! But yeah, book is better!
