I have so many book covers I love, that this is going to be nearly impossible to choose! I’m just going to take the lazy route and find a couple in my images that hop out and include them… but there are always more!

Animal Farm by George Orwell
Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson
Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao

Coasting by Elise Downing
Life in the Garden by Penelope Lively
An Immense World by Ed Yong
But probably my all-time favourite covers were sets put out by Penguin a few years back: Penguin Ink and Penguin Street Art. Here are a few of them:

Hawksmoor by Peter Akroyd
How to Be Good by Nick Hornby

White Teeth by Zadie Smith
That’s it for me this week! This was a tough one and took me a very long time to put together – there are just too many gorgeous book covers out there! Do you have one favourite? Or did you also have trouble narrowing it down? Were any of mine on your list this week?

I love the image of Snow Falling on Cedars… it’s so peaceful.
The image is beautiful, in particular the colours, but you’re right, that feeling is what makes it so special!
Those are some great covers! I love the one for Animal Farm and the Water Moon cover is beautiful.
You have good taste – those are probably my faves as well!
What a perfect cover for Bridget Jones. And it’s nice to see that someone else remembers Penelope Lively; some of her books were sold in the US in the 1980s and at one time I had all of them.
Yes, I love that cover! I have only read one of her books, but my mum was a fan of hers when I was younger so I had heard of her.
