Friends of Dorothy by Sandi Toksvig
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune
I loved both How to Age Disgracefully and Friends of Dorothy so much that I’d just love anything that relates to these characters. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is complete on its own, but again I loved the story and characters, and I’d love to find out what happens to the young witches as they grow up – are they able to stay together? Do they gain control of their magic? Do they end up learning different skills that the witches who came before didn’t learn because they’re together? So many questions! Somewhere Beyond the Sea is a strange choice, since it’s already a sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea. But I loved both of those books so incredibly much that I just don’t want it to end. I want more of this world and these characters!
That’s it for me this week! There are many other books I could just as easily have included this week, because there are so many books I loved enough to want more! What about you guys? Which book or books did you choose this week?
