A Grim Reaper’s Guide to Cheating Death (S.C.Y.T.H.E. Mystery #2) by Maxie Dara
I was going to write commentary for each month’s selections, but this post has already taken me a couple of hours to research and format and, quite frankly, I’m done with it. So I’ll just call out a few of my top picks: A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping (by the same author as The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, one of my faves of the last year), People Like Us (I adored Jason Mott’s Hell of a Book so I’m very excited about this one), The Impossible Fortune (the newest installment in the Thursday Murder Club series), The Land of Sweet Forever (this is a collection of Lee’s non-fiction and short writings, which I’m interested in experiencing), and last but not least, Brigands and Breadknives (the sequel to Legends & Lattes, another of my recent faves). There are so many great books coming out that I won’t even know where to start!
What about you guys? Did you select any of the books on my list? Are any of these ones you didn’t know about and are not thrilled and excited about?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic. To see past and upcoming topics, go here.

I’m interested in a few books here, but the main one is The Guide to Magical Innkeeping. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for it.

I didn’t know she had a new book coming out, but it’s one of the ones I’m most excited about!
THE CIA BOOK CLUB sounds intriguing! I also want to read THE LIST OF SUSPICIOUS THINGS. I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT!

I am excited about those as well! I found The List of Suspicious Things at the library – apparently my dates were incorrect on that one, and it’s already out! I’m looking forward to giving it a try.
Baldwin seems like a good read.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Yes, I quite like Baldwin, so I’m interested to read a different perspective on him!
I have a few of these on my list as well! A Witch’s Guide, We Love You Bunny, and Brigands and Breadknives. 🙂 Lol and I felt the same. That post was a time sucker!
Yes, I’m quite excited about those! Oh man, I got very sucked into all the reading about upcoming releases, and then there was all the formatting!
You have a wonderfully comprehensive list!
We have one book in common.
I spent a little too much time on this week’s post, because I got carried away with reading about all the exciting new books coming out later in the year! I hadn’t been keeping up with upcoming releases, so there were lots of pleasing surprises!
What a brilliant list of anticipated releases! “A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping” sounds absolutely delightful, and I’m so excited for “The Impossible Fortune” too! Happy reading for the second half of the year!
Thank you, you too!
