  It’s been another busy week and, as usual, I’ve not had much time for reading. But my mum was here to visit, and we went to the library with my kid and they each found something to read, came home, and instantly curled up on the sofa to start reading. They’ve pretty much kept READ MORE

  Another busy week and I’ve been picking up books and even reading them in dribs and drabs, but have completely failed to actually finish a single one.   This has been a busy week because I was taking a class each evening and fitting in everything else during the day. I started a couple of books, only kept going with one or two, but mostly spent my spare time this week watering the garden, doing housework, or hanging out with my family. READ MORE

  I’ve had a slower reading week because my kid is home from summer camp, and we’ve had a visit from my Dad so spending time together has been the most important.   I’m feeling much better so far this week, though the cough is still with me. Progress is progress, though! My kid is in summer camp this week, so I’ve had a bit of time feeling lonely, but also getting more done. I’m trying to get a lot of stuff done around the house and READ MORE

  Another week of sickness! As per usual, a simple cold has now turned into a lung infection thanks to the joys of asthma. But I’m up and about, have a little more energy, and can (almost) taste things, so we’ll call that improvement, shall we? Books were slow this week because every time I READ MORE
