This week’s prompt: A songwriter composes a song about your love for books. What would the song’s title be?
I don’t have a title, but I do know that it would be a long song. All about undying devotion, gratitude, loyalty and something to do with knowing when you know. Maybe there’d be a bit about lifelong love in there, childhood love of reading, and how much I’ve learned from books. How they’re always there for you, and never judge you for your taste in them or for putting them down without finishing them (thank goodness for that last one!). Oh, and a tiny tinge of obsession. Hey! Maybe that’s it – A Tiny Tinge of Obsession. Yeah, I think that’d work.
What about you guys? Anyone have a more musical bent than me and can actually picture this in their mind? Anyone instantly know what the title would be?
