my week on wednesday the blues black

Looking back, I haven’t done a My Week On Wednesday post in about two months. Oops! That was not the plan. Here’s hoping I can get back to my regular scheduled posting going forward. Here’s what I got into over the past week:

Just shelved:

9 - Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden - MC Beaton       10 - Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryfam - MC Beaton

11 - Agatha Raisin and the Love from Hell - MC Beaton       12 - Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came - MC Beaton

I’ve been very into the Agatha Raisin series by M.C. Beaton, and I’ve been polishing them off at an alarming rate. In the past week I finished four! They only take a few hours each to read, and due to my recent bouts of insomnia, I’ve been getting through at least half of one every night. They’re not great literature or anything, but they are entertaining. This is the first cozy mystery series I’ve gotten into, and so far I’m a fan of the genre!

Currently reading:

13 - Agatha Raisin and the Case of the Curious Curate - MC Beaton

Predictably, I’m already on to the next in the Agatha Raisin series, which I might even have finished by the time this post goes live.

Up next:

14 - Agatha Raisin and the Haunted House - MC Beaton

I’ll probably continue with the Agatha Raisin series for a little while longer at least, though I’ve got a bunch of other books I’ve been “reading” since September that I need to get back to. But I can’t help it, I’m all about the fun and easy at the moment!

That’s it for my week in books. Over to you guys – what have you been reading lately? Any of you fans of cozy mysteries, and if so, which series do you love and recommend? Share in the comments!

My Week On Wednesday is a weekly post in which I share with you what I’ve been reading, what I’m reading next, and any other bookish stuff I enjoyed in the past week! If you’d like to write your own My Week On Wednesday post, or if you’d just like to share your recent reads, feel free to link or chat in the comments!
